Jim
Muller is a registered lobbyist with both the Florida executive and legislative
branches and participates in the legislative process from bill drafting and analysis
through passage. Jim works in all areas, especially appropriations, planning and
environmental issues. He has been appointed or elected to more than eight task forces
to review and formulate programs, policies and rules. An invited speaker at more than 17
conferences and workshops, Jim has addressed Legislative committees, technical workshops,
and broad interdisciplinary groups. With experience in lobbying at the executive,
legislative, agency, and local levels, MAI works effectively with elected officials
and staff to represent clients' interests.
From 1997 to
2000, MAI served as Special Consultant to Florida's Executive Office of the Governor
for the Florida Keys. Serving in a liaison capacity for the Governor's Office, MAI
interacted with state, local, and federal agencies on a variety of issues.
